If it's to do with local agreements then you have them in the office otherwise most of the petty managers will not allow them (we usually have ours in the pub

Union Meeting
Unfortunately, I believe so. Under our last DOM we always were allowed meetings where he thought the members would back his view, or we were on the verge if walking. But in the run up to the strikes we could not have them even during working hours, so we all tried to have a MR at the same time outside the office, but then he said we could not leave the premises, and we could not have a Union meeting on them. Petty or what. Still it had the opposite effect to what he wanted as we stayed out during the strikes.Wild Cat wrote:We have been told that union meetings are banned on the office premises,is this legal?

Union Meeting
Time i believe is given for a union rep to talk to there membership in work time about working issues normally in the works canteen,if a manager gets silly and does not allow this then maybe the answer is to hold your meetings out on the street, but let your area rep know what is going on if this is the case.
