Re employment
Hi I left the company 5 weeks ago and the job I went to wasn't what it was explained to be. I have been in contact with Royalmail and got told I could come back hgv. This was said within 21 days still waiting for a start date. Would I still keep my seniority and holiday entitlement I was told it was part of the wayforward agreement but I can't find it anywhere.

Re: Re employment
Holiday entitlement only, you will lose your seniority.
Although it has been known that if the leave date and the return date were quite short you could keep your seniority.
Not 100% sure if this is still a thing though.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Re employment
If you were good "friends" with management buddies, you'll keep your seniority. If not then welcome back down to the bottom rung of the 2 rung ladder.
