THE MISUSE OF D.R.A.W.

Post by johnston65 »

I would like to hear from other offices as to the way that Diversity and Dignity and Respect seem to be getting misused by management up here. Some of the first questions asked at conduct interviews are along the lines of have you been trained in Diversity or do you know about DRAW.
So it would seem that this is nothing but a big stick to hit people over the head with...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

i know a manager on nights who used a draw rep to pull people in to the office and tell them off, the managers reasoning behind it was that she didnt want to make anything official, all i know is that it caused some very bad feelings towards draw and the draw members so much so in fact that nobody trusted it after that

we couldnt believe it and how a complaint didnt go in is beyond me cos thats the first thing i would have done, only a manager gets me in the office, and then i drag someone in with me so that i have back up

We have a DRAW group our office. I am actually a member of it.

There is also an "action group" and a "committee" what a load of shite. there is so much bullying and swearing delivery officer against delivery office its a joke. These groups are for delivery officers to fill them with self importance.

We also have two walk coaches and one of them "demands" a six day week for all and insists on making the business proftable. A walk coach? another jumped up manager wannabe more like.
Andy C. Price. Bitterne Manor delivery office.

A suspended CWU unit rep of seven years. Suspended for following instructions of his area delivery representative.
The area delivery representative still holds his position?
