LGV 1hr paid meal break
Can any union rep explain why this is paid as a substitution ? Shouldn't this be built into basic pay and pensionable ?

As i thought. 160 views nobody as a clue. I believe this paid break needs negotiating into basic pay for LGV drivers. So that it becomes pensionable. Just like paid breaks for all other uniform grades.
Do we have a rep or area rep than can take this up with CWU. HQ. To be agreed in pay deal ?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I've thought it strange how the first reduction to the working week to 38 hours, we got the additional 1 hour built into basic pay, but on the 2nd hour they said they would make it a separate payment because people complained it wasn't clear the first time?
