Annual leave week with bank holiday

Got annual leave week on Easter week. My schedule day off is (good) Friday. Question , do I get a day back in lieu for the Friday? I am using 5 days leave at the moment, when surely I should be using up 4?

In the short term you are using up 5 days but you have the choice to get a day back in lieu or be paid for it instead.

That's what I thought, i.e only using 4 days when I get that one in lieu back.

It won't show as a credit or day in lieu until the day passes as the system won't credit dates that are in the future...according to the guy who does all our leave and got sick of the sight of me last year as Nigh on every bank holiday fell on my rest days
