where are the reps?

Something happened in my mail centre last week and i felt i should inform the union as it concerned the cutting up of jobs, so i went looking and dispite 3 being on my shift i could not find a single one, what am i supposed to do? 2 are on leave and the other had not been seen all day!!!

There are usually not enough Reps around, particularly on late shifts in MCs as they
are often devoluted onto earlier attendances to deal with discipline/attendance cases, negotiations,
meetings. etc..
My MC has the mobile tel nos of the Branch Secretary and Deputy Branch Secretary
on the CWU Notice Board so they can ce contacted if necessary.

People in our office paid subs for 10 years with no rep at all until just recently. Our substitute area delivery rep only had time to come over very infrequently. Do you think they're not doing their jobs properly or perhaps they have to be released frequently to discuss things or negotiate issues on your office's behalf?

Dont people pay money into the cwu to fight things that are incorrect? if i have a dispute with a manager cos he is cutting a job or pushing two yorkies and he ignores me and carries on am i not entitled to seek advice and get this stopped?
