Being made to work at another office
Just looking for some advice on this guys. Been told people have to go and help another office which has been hit by covid, over 20 people off apparently. I think the risk of infection to other office's is very high but management seem to think this is reasonable and union rep says they can. Now my contract as alot of other in the office say where our place of work is with no mobility clause in, management are saying we have to make our own way there and start at our usual start time and finish at our usual time so basically no travel time , which the union rep says they can do. I just want some advice for tomorrow rather than just telling them to jog on . Thanks

If you are tasked to work in another office then the PM07 agreement specifically states viewtopic.php?t=11957
CWU AND ROYAL MAIL PAY AND MODERNISATION AGREEMENT - APRIL 2007/2009
Working in nearby offices – Areas will identify and agree with the CWU locally an approach (which could include the use of volunteers and reserves) to working in nearby offices within employees’ contracted hours which will include travel times and appropriate travel and subsistence arrangements.
So they have to get you there or pay you to get there. And 100% you start and finish and your own office - within your hours.
As to your next question - yes this agreement is still current and valid.
