You do realise that if you really read peoples posts before commenting on them, and then discuss a point in a mature way your reputation on here my get better.

To answer your point. I would give none of them up, they are simply the points that Royal Mail keep banging on that they do anyway. In deliveries we know different. As I suspect you do or are you really a perfume manufacturer. Image

They say Managers don't bully staff - they do - is that acceptable to you.

They say they take the opinions of staff on board - they don't - is it acceptable that they say one thing and do another.

The work balance needs sorting because you have lapsed walks going out, and main duties being left in all because it meets a lapsing target - is that acceptable to you.

People are working over and not getting paid even though they worked as hard as possible - is that acceptable to you.

I had better stop there before I suggest you go and see a proctologist and a cranial specialist. I don't wan't to ban myself.

Evidence cloherty?
How can I give you evidence I am just a postman and don't have the figures. If you look at what was published back at the last strike by management you would say that was wrong too. All I can say is a lot of mail centre staff are working part time hours and will be in. Also the last strike logistics staff that went in at my office would be nearer 70% I would say. Also have a look at staffing levels for mail centre on a Monday. All staff that don't work are classed as working like sick and holiday. Oh one other point is I still don't think there will be any strike but time will tell. On the 4th you will have 2 points of view if there is a strike. 1 the union saying this amount , 2 the management saying this amount. It doesn't really matter as what ever happens, is that the good old postie will be the loser..

It's such a terrible life working on the post if it was that bad I have told you I would be doing a different job.

Does the fact that we didn't go on strike last year mean we shouldn't now?
I didn't paint my fence last year,It was a mistake because it looked like s**t so I painted it this year because I knew the longer I left it the worse it would get.
If we do nothing to address the issues we're facing they will get worse, that's been proven time and time again in this job.

There is no official limit to the number who can attend a picket line.
The only legal limit covers official pickets and these should be the only members picketing directly at the entrance.
You can have hundreds showing support on a picket line and they don't even have to be employees as long as they are well behaved and not causing an obstruction.

Because like you, I think its good when people try to leave the world a better place for their sons and daughters, unlike you I like to do the same for those sons and daughters of other people that will follow me into Royal Mail.

i AM ASKING YOU AS YOU MADE THE STATEMENT.

A comment was made earlier that you are reporting nothing more than innuendo and hearsay based on personal prejudice.

I am now in agreement with that.

If any individual makes a statement, than i expect them to give a persuasive argument to support their reasoning.

Great point but the world is a changing place and in time the job will change as technology gets more advanced. As for my kids hopefully they will go into something different. Think of this site what will it look like in 10 years?
