keep it simple

Post by peterloo »

the good thing about this agreement is posties are gonne be less likely to stitch themselves up by coming in early driving there own cars or running roundlike headless chickens the difficult thing from our point of view will be making sure posties are not forced to work past there finish time. Management will try to intimidate people with the enablers

I have not heard anything about this since the deal was made, I am presuming the chance of seeing a bounes from RM is looking highly unlikey. To be honest if it involves being bullied by RM management to take part of someone else's walk I would rather not have the £400, I feel like sh*t when I ve finished work as it is without being made to walk even further.

For those who think there is going to be a strike vote on the Pensions issue - take a look at some of the postings on this issue , which is for just £400 less tax and insurance

If something sounds too good to be true, then that's because it probably is !

I am more convinced than ever that Royal Mail's interpretation of your office agreeing to work flexibly (and triggering the payment) will be that RM can make you do this in your office every summer. When have you ever known Royal Mail pay so much for so little in return (not counting Leighton and Crozier's salaries, of course) ? :evil/mad

No way are they gonna give you that £400 for so little back from you guys. Think about it !!

£400 payout all signed off and agreed but were in a good office and out dom is ok ( sort of) but were only a small office (70/80) dont think this would work if we were any bigger
Is your office got a screw loose or something thats what we were asked to do and we told them to shove it.
We have signed the agreement not that we are happy about lapsing 2 duties in summer but you can only work to your time RM can't make you
work any longer than you are supposed to but you are choosing to work a day off for free :left: :arrrghhh

Any moneys should avalible should be put in to the wage rise and never bonuses that RM fix and feck around with...

The UNION cant keep up with the talks let alone keep up with the sculdugery of the figures and work coming in...

Ive heard a thousand times... "WE ESTIMATE THAT THE FIGURES ARE DROPPING OFF." Then there is alll this CRAP we do for other rival companys... SMART.... No fecking wonder they get away with saying "WERE SKINT AND THERES NO MORE MONEY FOR A WAGE RISE."

like i stated in a previous post i think it suits our office we put it to a vote and we have agreed to do it
most of the posts on here are against the idear of working for free but if you can see around the corner were not doing it for free we are doing it for £400 for just 1 days work
next year is next year were not worried about that untill it gets here
everyone seems to be against it but i aint seen anyone put any more proposals up to get the £400 quid
its easy enough to just say fu ck it and not get it but if its up for grabs and were not gonna kill our selves gettin it were going to do it
if its left to the screws it will be done there way and that has gotta be worse than our way
