What a farce! Does anyone take the CWU seriously, chatter, delay, chatter, delay certainly not RM and an ever increasing number of members. Really! A rabbit being pulled out of a hat FFS - it's not a rabbit that's required. The time for striking is long gone there was never the will at the higher echelon for it. We have apologists on here trying to save face by saying these are challenging and complex issues - are we stupid?, of course they are serious and complex issues and if the negotiators aren't up to it and after all this time they are obviously not, they should have called a strike.

All through these negotiations some have said the CWU are being strung along to get through Christmas and so it has proved to be the case. The promise of cash won't cut it, we need a sea change in the style of management and the work load expectancy of RM.

What will the CWU do next time they ballot for action or will there ever be with a new methodology for dealing with industrial strife. Ask not for whom the bell tolls................

ill vote no if we get another ballot. they got my yes vote first time around. not wasting it again.

That wasn't necessary it was considered that progress had been made sufficient to call off action because the rabbits out of the hat and the chicken is decidedly home to roost.
