He's a bully that shouts folk down, he's been shown up that much recently that Sturgeon is sent out after his numerous gaffes these days.

He's not averse to spending taxpayers cash either, from £250 tartan trews to a half million pound jolly to the Ryder cup, a National embarrassment that makes me cringe when i see him.

I don't want to be starting any unfounded rumours but Cameron's watched Braveheart 72 times and is rather hoping that there will be a similar display to the scene on the hillside when the scots face the might of the English Army and lift the kilt - if they should win the ballot that is. Just in case it's a negative he's ordered a directors cut of Braveheart with the outtakes :cuppa

Renewable energy in Scotland is not "pie-in-the-sky" Tman.
Do some research,we've got the perfect combination of wind, water and wave and tidal conditions for renewable energy production,We've been doing it from the 1950's with the Hydro Board.
Around 35 per cent of Scotland's electricity came from renewables in 2011.

About the only renewable energy source that's feckin useless up here is solar panels but then that's the case for most of the UK.[/quote]
Each form of what is termed renewable energy has to be judged on its own merits.Tidal power has yet to prove economic viability.Likewise solar which subsidises householders at the expense of consumers. There is little green or logical about biofuel .Hydro power is high capital investment but long term, tried and tested and an ideal form of standby generation through pump storage.Small percentage output though with limited scope for expansion, some new schemes on the go.So the majority of planned generation will be wind power which can be just about competetive in terms of generating costs. One problem is then the extensive infrastructure required to support the numerous and scattered plant. Then the electricity produced is erratic, unpredictable and not suitable for large scale grid supply.Surplus generation may overload equipment and value is dependant on demand.Lack of generation means higher demand for standby generation which is expensive . Requirements were kept to a minimum before but the more wind the more standby. The technology is not without benifit especially off grid and most engineers see a role in the energy mix but the scale of the expansion particularily in scotland is utter folly.Bottom line is the SNP energy policy, somewhat inherited from labour admittedly, will prove a serious liability with grave consequences in an independant scotland.Bit like independance ,an easy sell but once you scratch the surface......

He claimed to have taken legal advice about an Independent Scotlands place in the EU then spent £12,000 trying to supress a FOI request about said legal advice, non had been taken at all.

His embarrassing performance in the royal box at Wimbledon, imagine if Cameron had pulled out a UJ'

Re-nationalising Royal Mail, even his co-horts were taken aback at that one.

With regards to your EU legal advice point the full transcript of that interview makes very clear, Salmond was talking about the issue of Scotland’s continued EU membership in terms of general debate and in terms of many eminent legal opinions offered.

“Salmond was also, as the interview makes clear, speaking in terms of the various Scottish Government documents containing reference to an independent Scotland’s membership of the European Union.

“These publications are ‘Choosing Scotland’s Future’, published in August 2007, page 24; ‘Your Scotland, Your Voice’ published in November 2009 at page 107; and ‘Your Scotland, Your Referendum’, published in January of this year at page 4. All of these documents are underpinned by legal advice from our law officers, they have to be, that is the reality.”

Why waste the £12k suppressing the FOI request then?

2008 and he claims that an independent Scotland would be part of the Euro, now it's a Sterling zone with the rest of the UK

The Nats are all over the place in this debate and now say what they think will win them votes, Thankfully most Scots can see through their deceit and will return a No vote.
