9 strike breakers CROSSED THE LINE I'M SURE ONE OF THEM WAS HANDING OUT HAND JOBS AND HIS OWN ASS TO HIS FELLOW strike breakers !!

bideford delivery office 9 strike breakers(5 union member/4 non-union) from a total workforce of about 70
started the picket at 4.15am this morning feckin pissed down but we had brollys
our dom and a dom from a neighbouring office stood on the picket line to make sure we behaved ourselves told them it must be a 1st to see a manager on a picket line shame you not losing any money
manager asked if he could get us some coffees and tea one of the line told him to shove them up his arse
bout 25 guys turned up on the picket line and thanks for bringing extra brollies and flasks of tea and coffee to keep us going
we packed up the picket line at about 10.30 as most of the strike breakers had gone home by then thought they were due to work there 8 hours
they must have sorted and delivered all the mail JOB AND FINISH MY ARSE

thanks to the local businesses who call and collect who refused to cross the picket line and to most of the general public who tooted and shouted there support
apart from the couple of w*****s who drove past telling us to get back to work(how brave)
our local crown office was staffed by managers and the queue was out the door
well done lads lets keep it up for the next time if needed
send all the strike breakers to coventry with a one way ticket

about 30-40 on picket line at its best,posties picketed right through morning at variuos times from 3am to about 10-30am. four full time strike breakers walked through picket line to work with managers as well as two part timers and four what they call bag carriers who are doing lapsed full time duties because of cut backs and apparently had no choice due to their contracts.as for the full timers, what f******g w******s.

1 scabby thickheaded w*nker in

Scab is union member in the past I asked him why he was not going to partake in strike action his reply was " Ive paid into the union for years and what have they ever done for me?"

How thick can anybody be? I explained every pay rise he has received full sick pay for six months and loads of other benefits.
Still the to**er couldn't see.

Full Timers
9pm shift - only 1 union member crossed the line, 3 others went in (all non-union, the only non-union members on the shift)
8pm shift - no union members went in, 10 non-union went in
Out of a total of 44 between the shifts. We consider this a real result, since 4 years ago there was precisely 1 member on our site!!!
Part-timers showed strong support (honking horns etc0 on the way out, and no union members on that shift crossed the line, (bar one, in admin).

Leeds pretty solid by the sound of it, except one office Tong Rd where only the rep was on the picket line and alot went in, poor guy. Harehills and Morley a few went in, possibly Wetherby. But Stourton Mail Centre had only a couple of non-CWU went in, and several offices including important ones 100% out and pretty good picket line turnouts, our DO had 100% and almost all the staff came on the picket line!

The times I've heard that!

I can tell him what they (and bear in mind we ARE the union) have done in my time as a postman . A five day week, a reduction from 44 hours to 40 hours per week, a reduction from five years to two years for a serious warning and it can't now be increased on appeal as it could have been in the past, shoes and boots issued instead of having to buy our own and improved health and safety. And that's before other small things like representation at disciplinary hearings etc. The question for these goons is 'What have YOU ever done for the union?'
