Yes, Yes, just like the EU Referendum and just like the EU Referendum the losers can't get over it and the likes of Mrs Krankie keep squealing for another referendum ad infinitum. People aren't sheep they make up their mind on which way to vote and that's it. You should watch the Tracy Ulman show she does a really excellent take off of her nationalistic rants.

Same old celtic whining, same old "let's rewrite history" narratives, same old same old...
Other than Jimmy Krankie and her alter-ego McSmug, most Scots are probably relieved now it went the way it did, as the price of oil nose-dived within months.
It's going to be politically very interesting in the future, with these two twisting, turning and prevaricating endlessly, but really hoping that their wishes never actually come true. The daft little woman has played her biggest and only card repeatedly...it has no worth anymore. From the very day of the EU referendum last June she was squealing about IndyRef2 with as much acumen or skill as a toddler playing Snap, so....go...stay...WGAF?
The possibility of tariffs between the Jocks' biggest trading partners ie the remainder of the UK, and no likelihood of any sort of free ride into the other EU states' open market should send shudders down the spine of any fiscally-aware Scot.
Having seen how the mighty Merkel treats the "poor men of Europe", would anyone actually vote for that humiliating treatment voluntarily? :hmmmm

For some people from Scotland it might be important to have self determination but is that not what they have already albeit under a united kingdom umbrella? I don't know how they would manage financially but I read that they would begin their independence £15 billion in the hole and unlike Alex Salmond when asked how he would finance x,y and z responded that Westminster would pay - as we do.

You two are far more likely to inspire Scottish independence than convince anyone that it's a bad idea. The Scots will decide whether they want independence or even whether a second referendum discussion is relevant. A bit of advice though and you can take it or leave it but talking down to people, insulting people and perpetuating the "arrogant English" dynamic doesn't do either of you any favours.

Godrics point was Labour is dead and buried in Scotland, he's absolutely right and bearing in mind Scotland was a strong Labour heartland that should be a sobering thought for anyone who truly understands the dangers of a government with no effective opposition.

Who cares? We're all perpetuating the old stereotypes...."arrogant English" " whining two-faced Scot" "morbidly miserable Taff" and "back-shooting Mick" so what does it matter?
If the daft cow calls Indyref2 then good, maybe we can all move on (well, at least until she calls Indyref3 anyway) but the general consensus with those who've bothered to form an opinion, is that they should give all UK residents and vote, then the Scots would be assured of a vote to leave the UK.
McSmug preaches that it would be some sort of disaster (for the UK as such) if the Scots leave, but most don't seem to GAF.
Other than spoiling the Union Flag, does it really matter to the rest of us?
{If we all ignore giving aircraft carrier work to the inefficient Clyde ship-builders over English yards in the hopes of swaying the original independence vote, and the £billions being used to prop up the Scottish failing financial institutions etc, that is.}
Godrics point was Labour is dead and buried in Scotland, he's absolutely right and bearing in mind Scotland was a strong Labour heartland that should be a sobering thought for anyone who truly understands the dangers of a government with no effective opposition
.

Symptomatic of both the strength of petty nationalism in Scotland and Labour's utter uselessness over the last two decades or so, but like all political parties, time moves on and things change. Post-Brexit UKIP are pointless, and post IndyrefXXX the SNP will be too. One-trick ponies both.

And right on cue, the seemingly weekly Indyref2 threat.
Just call it Jimmy Kranks, and just call it for now.

I think she rather overdoes the accent. I'm surprised she doesn't wear a kilt and makes her entrance playing the bagpipes with her face painted blue under a bonnet. She was thinking of a two handed claymore but it turns out it was taller than she is. The truth is she's a one trick pony with nothing else to say. I wonder what she'll be screeching if after a second referendum the result is the same?

For all the bleating krankie does about leaving she has never once stated what currency they would use if they did, they cannot continue with the pound ( but she always answers that they might do :nana ) and she states they won't use the euro. Basically she hasn't a clue.

I wonder if she has a plan as to what she would do if she got a yes vote or would it be a clutching of the head and a "Christ what do we do now" scenario.

Oily McSmug was pressed on this very point a couple of years back in an interview on TV.
"You won't be in the Euro and you can't use Sterling, so what are you going to do?"
"It's oor pooond too" was all he could weakly reply.
"But it won't be, it's the currency of the alliance you've just left, and London is under no obligation to keep supplying (what will be) a foreign country with hard cash, so what will you do?"
Hurriedly changes subject.
There is no answer. Rocks and hard places, and yet another issue which any intelligent ie non-tartan-clutching Scot will want clarifying prior to any vote, surely?
And that's after 18 months to two years of Brexit negotations have soured relations between the UK and the remaining 27 countries, and left them even more unwilling to cut some sort of deal with that rocky cold money pit at the Northern end of the UK.
If the UK is predicted to struggle outside of the comfort blanket of the EU, Christ knows how an independent Scotland would fare...

Oh look...this week's indeyref2 threat.

Keep on making threats wee Jimmy Krankie and one day you'll have to follow through. Looks like today's the day when you lay your only trump card.
So what are going to use as a bargaining chip for the next 18 months, you ridiculous little woman?

I fail to understand what she hopes to gain by calling a 2nd referendum and if she gets the result she seeks what she hopes to achieve. Scotland by itself is not financially viable, will not remain a member of the EU without reapplying and will not necessarily be admitted without a financial penalty. I think she should be told that she will not be crowned queen of Scotland ever. People outside of the UK haven't the faintest idea who she is and 90% of those have never heard of Scotland.

I fail to see why two people with such obvious disdain for all things Scottish and believe that Scotland is a net drain on the UK give a f**k what the Scots do in a referendum.

It's win/win for you guys, according to you two a yes vote will obviously leave what's left of the UK financially much better off and a no vote will mean the end of the woman you both inexplicably hate so much so...why the constant carping and hand wringing?

It's irrational petty nationalism in action again, and Sturgeon obviously learnt at the knee of the master of that, the obsequious Salmond. It's the most base of politics on show, and very similar in principle to Trump, McGuiness and all the other "leaders" who've made flag-waving the be-all and end-all of their policies.
Now she (and the SNP) have riled up all those hard-wired to believe that Scotland is a stand-alone "hard done by" type of country, it's almost inevitable that Indyref Christ-knows-what will happen at some point, and then all our problems will mount, as there's likely to be some sort of hard border (which will need policing and hence paying for) and then the (also inevitable) flow of economic migrants in a southerly direction needing to be processed and sorted ("ma da came frae Manchesturrr" and similar) escaping from the New Greece.
Sadly the end of the union as we now know it won't stop the financial liabilities from continuing into the future; if the vote is to leave the UK and then the EU leave you hanging for months/years/forever who's going to have to pick up the bill? The very same who've done it up to now, as ever...

In what way will England be financially exposed to the liabilities of an independent Scotland?
Show your working Tman, you're not making much sense, If you have an issue with petty nationalism perhaps you should concentrate on problems closer to hand rather than fixating on independence vote in another country.
