its a no from me!!
even the 1.5% on top next year is subject to all of the changes being agreed,i work in a mail centre and the bit that worries me is the fact that the union is allowing different lengths of hours worked per day!
How can i do my contract around changes of hours in my shift, how can i work around my family life
this is quite disgusting!!!

Cannot Take It In !

They call for unity and strength for that !

They Are Absoulutly Pi##ed !

VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN BILLY SMART sorry (HAYES). Little Dissapointed with MR Ward How ever benefit of the doubt if he has been with Hayes to long and a bunch of negotiators given that agreement must have done some damage up top.

A tiny voice of calm?

Post by mdtomuk »

Though I'm in total agreement with all you guys on this flexibility 'cobblers', it has to be said that its all down to local agreement. And my office though in a large conurbation (ok Bournemouth/Poole) would never in a billion years work 7 on Tues and 9 on Friday. We might be daft enough for the 30 minutes thing!

INTERESTING BITS:-

· New ways of working – Employees will be treated fairly, with respect, and will be expected to be flexible.
HMM?

And:-

It is all about managers, reps and employees working together sensibly with a bit of give and take, applying equally to all.

These statements are the worrying parts, after what we have had thrown at us by Cobblers and Bollocks, how in the 7 layers of Hades could we ever trust representatives of these people!

I'm 50/50 (!) on voting yes, I will study the documents and consider you reponses, BUT - IN THE FUTURE I WILL NEVER EVEN CONSIDER VOTING IN ANY ALTERATION TO MY PENSION !!

AND (DOESN'T HE GO ON!..........ed) WE ALL HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING WHOEVER AND HOWEVER. WE GOTTA GET RID OF LEIGHTON AND CROZIER. THESE 'MEN' HAVE NO CURRENCY WITH ME, MY COLLEAGUE AND MY CUSTOMERS!!

that's all!

one point no one has latched on to, if you move the pay date from last april to this october they will have done you out of 7 months pension irrespective of what the seperate negotiations might come up with. as regards the rest of it i told you so.

SORRY - I MEANT COLLEAGUES !!

oH YES THE EXTRA 1.5% IS ONLY GIVEN TO US IF WE HAVE BROUGHT IN ALL THE FLEXIBILITY STUFF - LOCALLY!! I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT WE MUSN'T BE DIVIDED BY THIS TOSH. SO I GUESS IT'S GOING TO 5.4% TILL APRIL 2009!!!

if we can start at the old times on a saturday why cant we do that all week as surely the reasons for the later starts apply at the weekend as well as in the week?

only had a quick look but it looks like we havent got a very good deal.

Thanks lovejoy ,

Well i have just read this so called agreement .
I understand what it says

and its still a big FAT NO.

Our union seem to have washed there hands of there responsibilties we entrust in them
Why local agreements ,weak offices will get shafted big style .

I can just see it now "we're gonna trial this new way of working ladies and gents and we need your input to help make it work .we want your ideas" so the workforce chip in sensible and ratational ideas only for it to be BLANKED BY MANAGMENT and befor you know it the managments ideas that are in place wether it works or not , and its in for GOOD .

ummmmm tell me how many offices have had this put upon them ?

WHATS TO CONSULT OVER THE PENSION ?

I have seen this document befor only NOW its just worded in a nicer way

Ummmmm have you noticed that it typical of this unoin and RM to pass issues over to a later date for joint consultations .

WHY NOT GET IT f***ing SORTED NOW .

DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY

THATS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TELL US

I could go on and on about this so called agreement but my blood is boiling and i gotta calm down before my real boss gets home.

PISSED OF POSTIE

Thanks for all your help and support BILLY AND DAVE
I hope the next time i see or hear from you 2 again is when we have KICKED YOU OUT .
