Yes a very theoretical plausible plan but there are a couple of flaws, it will be the managers who are maintaining the system and exactly where are the extra days holidays coming from. There are many offices running at an optimum leave level now. It's a charter for managers to promise much and deliver little, unlike the delivery staff.

People don't get there post every day but on the flip side brings down the o/t bill.

Banking hours for leave instead of O/T? That would never work for part-timers (or "part-timers").

But hey, I'll take 25 (three-day-)weeks worth of annual leave per year if they'll give it to me.

will never happen. i know for a fact i would just cut off everyday if they try this

same here. would not trust them AT ALL with banked hours. cutting off it would be.

They can't even get leave right now, in our office people are owed weeks of A/L with no extra slots unless the office agree to even more lapsing. If they tried banking hours you'd never get it back for years.....I do remember years ago a manager trying to get us to bank hours until Saturday the idea lasted the whole of five mins when one bright spark in the wtl started laughing and simply said "right, so I work 2 hours overtime a day and get every sat off?"

We have heard different folks, yes it is all about delivery as it should be, the way we are treated, yes maybe a better pay deal, but no £300, no backdated pay offer, so I for 1 won't be accepting it

BS, both RM and the CWU know that a deal without a lump sum or back pay will not be voted in.

it may not be fully backdated though. remember the 2010 fiasco. it was only backdated to the september or something. its 33 weeks now and counting, which is approx £340. whats the odds they'll only backdate it to sep/oct. meaning we lose money again as it will average out at less than the 2.6 or 2.8 which ever it is.
