So we are on the 4th now - another two weeks gives them till the 18th, which takes it beyond the agreed to extension of 'intention to strike' notice, so that will add another week, so the earliest we could be on strike is?
No doubt, union leaders will come back with an offer after this time, but what if it is voted against by the members? There isn't realistically an opportunity to vote 'no' at that stage is there? They won't get back to the table till after Christmas then.
Thats 5 working days at the most if you count the 13th. If Dingo is correct and Royal Mail are not budging on deliveries, then something needs to change pretty rapidly for an agreement to be reached.
The email is confirmation that the DRG will not be going ahead on Thursday. We are locked in these talks until Friday and we have made no progress at all today. They remain unwilling to accept the scale of the problem in delivery. So much so that their response to our document that in their opinion contains irrelevant words and information has been countered with a 1.5 page document that is an insult to our intelligence and our members.

No your not speaking out of turn, just wondered why you think that other sections need their own teams. I would support that, even if Deliveries is the biggest issue, I was just trying to find out your own reasoning.

Tbt my problem is that we have changed. Years ago we were all paid roughly the same and had allowances for everything. This has gone and we all have different hours and days that we can work. Everyone has a different agenda and basically to me it seems so much about delivery this time. Delivery are always moaning on here about the last deal but to me the last deal was a winner for me a my section. This is not to say everything is perfect but not to bad..

C. Negotiations on Mail Centres, Network 13 and RDCs are ongoing and some progress is being made on these complex and difficult issues.
