Spedley, been reading your replies and although I do understand that people have commitments and some including myself are part time, but if at all possible i would suggest not doing the overtime. I know what you are saying about being short of money, but the one thing that you really need to remember is the threats that are being fired at us now, not in the future but now.
Early morning payments gone
D to D payments gone
Election payments gone
Extra hours at certain times of the week because of conditioned hours (never knowing when u are gonna finish)
Pension payments from you increased to cover shortfall.
Team working, how many offices do you think work on a full staff Ha Ha Joke.... I would say probably none so all of a sudden your team of 5 become a team of 4 or 3 or2 cause stress levels and pissed off posties wont be coming to work, so then where is your finishing time cause you will be made to take out all that teams mail, then u will be off with stress.
Cmon do i have to go further to make it sink in, yes we are suffering a little now......................................................................either that or we are going to suffer a lot forever

We must try and get this message through to the doubters.
the trouble is i think post peoples partners put pressure on them about the strike because they don't know the
cosequences of us losing!!
I have experience of this in my office, i have a couple doubters whinging about the money side but this is short sighted and
fuelled i know by the people they live with.

just hope these machines spedley writing about make less mistakes than ones we have now as seem to spend most of the time sorting walk sorted mail that has come for a ride out of mc only to be sent back there. They are taking new posties on reduced hours thinking we don't need them for ips..............I have my doubts, or am I just cynical of everything they promise? RM believe promises are made to be broken!!
I think unity is strength and about time the s.. shortsighted people saw that too, and stopped expecting others to fight their battles for them. They are only too pleased to reap the rewards and complain about the very body of people that make their lives easier.
