I get the impression somebody is planning something that may lead to a new GS and DGS(P).

I also get the the impression that whatever it is may well make the national press.

well lets hope so dont know about dgs but as for g/s the writings on the wall. this is going to test all who claim to be trade unionists.

And i presume the telecoms side of CWU have been factored in?

Whilst many postal mbrs may well be unhappy with Billy, it dosent mean that the telecoms side will share that view point.

I would not want to see any potential coup destablise all the hard work that has gone in to merging the UCW and NCU!

Delegates from the BT side (being mainly Broad Left/Labour Party members like Billy) will support him.

Can I asked of all who read this site, to name there Branch who will be attending Annual Conference please?

You all complain about the Leadership of this Union to which you are members?

Whatever happens at this Conference in Liverpool 2008 remember this, you have the chance to changed this Union for better or worse. To the Branch Officials you will have to explain to your Branch members why you took this route, when you all return home.

When you have been given your instructions and the reasons-stand by your decision and prove democracy will win over a Dictator?

Remember this, it is a rules change conference so lets change the first rule by ridding this Dictator from the union.

It's usually Tin pot Despots & Dictators in banana republics that want & expect standing ovations or Thatcher wanting stage managed ones when they had their party conferences . Billy Bunter wants one in Liverpool apparently .

Is what is intended to happen at confrence in relation to the Northen Ireland no 1 branch issue?

I shant be at confrence, one day i will be there receiving my standing ovation after just told europe to stick their open market were the sun dont shine in my capacity as prime minster drawn from the Green party

As it sems very clear the agenda is to remove Billy from the post of GS, may i ask if you have given anythought as to who has the nesscary skills to replace him and what changes you would wish to see in the CWU to stop the issues you have from re ocuuring?
