The thing is your all paid for the hours you do, Why not do van checks clean the van inside and out, Weigh your bags , clean your work area frame down. If you do all these things and others don't you will be singled out but that is because they are not "doing the job properly" If they cut corners to enable lapsing it is for them to do extra work. As it is you don't have the time as your doing the job to specification the only natural conclusion is the manager is incapable of farming out the work or spends all day arguing with you so it show he has the time to do it himself!
