Fair do's Lovejoy you do have an inside ear and many thanks for posting info us ordinary members are'nt privelidged enough to receive.But out of idle curiosity ,and ASSUMing for arguments sake that your intentions are noble , what will YOU do if this agreement turns into a disaster for the membership

so you have more inside info then lovejoy?are you saying dave warrens branch returned a yes vote?what i dont understand is how any postperson could vote yes to a deal that is crap,when we were taking industrial action royal mail were taking the p*ss and flouting laws on the use of casual workers,the cwu at a high level did nothing.do you really think that royal mail are going to sit down with the cwu and negotiate on flexibility and other important issues?thanks to the yes vote royal mail will say its our way or no way--and another quick question the vote on taking strike action in the first place was huge,the vote to accept the pay deal was also large if this swing in votes was during a general election most people would think a fiddle had taken place?
Your point's are vaild and heart felt by me but though i cannot believe this result we now have to turn our attention to defending our working condition's! But you have to question gordon brown's role in this for he has mucky finger's and when he said "I WANT THESE PEOPLE BACK TO WORK" he ment it any way but lose.
