THE REAL POLL QUESTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN:

DO YOU THINK THE BALLOT WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE MEMBERS?

ILL BE VOTING NO BUT WE'RE KIDDING OURSELVES I WE THINK THIS WILL BE THROWN OUT. IT WILL BE ACCEPTED. RM & CWU KNOW THIS AS A DEAD CERT WHICH IS WHY IT GOT RATIFIED.

I voted yes, because I think this is the best we are ever going to get. Sell out or no sell out. I've stood on the picket line with the rest of you and I will never cross it should it be rejected, but I'm tired and battle-weary. I just want it all over for my family's sake. To those who voted no, what is it that you exactly want? The union have made agreement with RM. They too must think that is the best they are going to get too. How many had their minds made up even before they had read this agreement? It's a compromise folks, not a sell out.

A definite answer on the D2Ds - as I truly belive that we are going to be shafted on this big time! RM and CWU say lets take it out of the equation for the minute and it'll look like we've made progress on the deal..... Again, same with pensions..... Not at all - I'm very far from being militant. In fact I never really believed in Unions much - until working for RM - and seen that you really needed to be in one with some of their draconian actions. However, with this sell-out dunno about that now?!? In a nutshell - I was hoping against hope that this agreement would be a compromise - but it's not - it's just a play on words. The only things that have really been changed/removed is that D2D, Pensions, etc which are gonna be discussed at a later date - therefore gonna shaft us at a later date....

ARSENALBOB:- i think that a massive no vote after a 4 week ballot would take us to about december 1st. 7 days notice for more i/a would take us into xmas pressure. that would put us into our strongest position yet for more negotiations. but can you see this happening. something politically underhand would prevent it and there's nothing any of us poor sods on here can do about it. i think guy fawkes had the best idea.

CWU ( Well Daft Lad and Pigshit ) will not allow the dates to build up to Christmas strike. By the time ballot taken and ( faked) result announced, it will be too late to ballot for strike action again.

This time it has to bypass even the CWU in order to work. Then we go for a "Real Deal" with RM that actually contains some benefits and very few downsides ( or none ) and get Hayes and Ward out together, as well as press CWU to drop political donations do we really need to pay bribes for political allegience to any party?

I truly think the time has come to mobilise for full scale unofficial action. I do not want the CWU ufcking up on our behalf again.
