8-10 went in in my office about the same on the line but we stopped the lorry going in :dance so the poor manager had to reverse out (and he almost caused 1/2 dozen collisions :d'oh! ) then the police turned up and drove past us 4-5 times but then drove away. Over an hour later the lorry turns up again and again we stop it from going in but this time he just sits and waits (my dum tries to move us but at this point we aren't even acknowledging he's there so he storms off and rings the police) my dum comes out to tell us that if we don't move then the police will arrest us :nana :nana so we just ignored him. After 1/2 hour the police arrived and we let the lorry in. The police told us we could protest but we were not to block the highway so tomorrow I think we'll not move (we are on private property but it's not RM's).

Same regular guys on the picket working in shifts - just finished mine and I'm on the early one tomorrow. Office closed apart from managers doing specials, no staff gone in here but one of ours in at another office. Many thanks to all the public who wished us well - even disappointed customers were really nice about it - but then we know how to deal with them - Royal Mail doesn't !!!
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

100 % all out at Cheadle & Cheadle hulme DO, Stockport
And we got a great turn out on the picket line too. Well Done lads
Lets hope for the same again tomorrow!
We also had a vote on use of cars/going in early!
As from next wednesday people who want too use their cars can,
BUT only take one bag out, For the short term as we don't have enough bikes too go around.
Shouldn't take too long for a huge back log at our office!
And nobody goes in early, we have got an agreement from the Dom that the gates stay locked until
06.05am, our new start time is 06.15am!!!!!

RM figure slightly massaged. They include the following

Managers - even though not involved
Romec - ditto
Quadrant - ditto
People on leave - October a very popular time for Spring/Winter leave
Sick - They getting paid so count as working
Agency Staff
Last but not least the strike breakers

Lets see them come and say out of a exact number of those union grade members of staff who could strike the following number came in to work.
