As far as I can see the statement from Dave Ward re: banking of hours NOT being agreed is from January 2010.

DOES THAT STILL APPLY or is there an amendment in the 2010 Agreement making banking of hours compulsory???

If there is nothing in the 2010 Agreement about banking of hours due to severe weather then it is VOLUNTARY. Agreed?

After auto-searching the Business Transformation 2010 and Beyond National Agreement I have found NO mention whatsoever of banking of hours for any reason. The only 'Bank' in there is to do with Bank Holidays. So Dave Wards Jan 2010 statement has not be effected by the 2010 Agreement.

Banking of Hours is a therefore a deliberate LIE and we should fight this managerial deceit with bullying and harassment claims.

Seems the same story everywhere.
Manager says you owe time back.Union rep asks someone higher up and they say "not sure,maybe you do owe time back.I'll look into it"
Rep tells us we probably do have to pay it back and we get shafted.
Some second hand info on the site wont cut it with the manager and you stand alone as everyone else in the office accepts what they're told.
Lack of communication from the top down to office reps as usual.

tbh you can't really get much clearer than Dave Wards statement from January. It is as explicit as you could be - there is NIO agreement on banking hours. And there is nothing in the 2010 Agreement to change that...so it stands.

OK we are in the position where we have to print out the Ward statement ourselves and show it to the managers and reps but hey ho we are more than capable of doing that.

WE are the union, the members, you can't leave it to the reps all the time. Be proactive, get the printer fired up, lets bust this scam.

Print off the statement from Dave Ward and show it to your managers. No banking of hours, no flexibility or clawback of hours for severe weather events.

So when the DSM tells my DOM that clawback is agreed with the union its just a downright lie, good to know these new relationships are being built on the cornerstone of bullshite!!!!!!!!
