A few of us gave out leaflets in the main square,
and had a petition for people to sign.
i must say that these to stratagies were very succesful.
If only for the fact that we got the salient points of our
arguement with r.m into the public domain.
The majority of people are ignorant through no fault of ours
concerning the true facts.

We'll definately have someone on the nearby high rd, handing out leaflets to all and sundry. I'm sceptical as to how effective
having public support really is these days , but we can still put our point across to them.
As I've pointed out before on these boards, the RMT manage very well with virtually no public support at all.
