There is a female version - it's called Intrinsa.
The problem for women is that when men start suffering from erectile dysfunction, women are also experiencing a loss of libido due to the menopause.
The use of Viagra means men want more sex at a time when women want less.

How much can you put in someones coffee before they taste it?

Not so bloody much, she tasted it straight away, I thought if I could get her interested........ I told her it was a slimming aid - well that was only a little lie - I mean it would have been a calorie burner.

D'you know mother that is the second time in 3 days I have been faced with erectile dysfunction - apparently it can be a symptom of diabetes, which I was diagnosed with a year ago ................................... however I think I must have had it for years Tell me mum, you weren't drummed out of the SS for cruelty were you?.............................. I mean the surgery's a bit drastic, how would I stir the tea?

Apparently vigorous sex can trigger a hypo.
Probably not much chance of that in your case.

It was a myth,potassium bromide was prescribed by doctors after operations in that area to try to minimize the risk of "accidents" with stitches etc.
It was also widely used as a sedative to treat epilepsy and like all sedatives affects your alertness.
Not a great idea to sedate your soldiers before a battle.

Probably an Urban Legend as Bromide to "stop them getting horny" would mean its being used as a mild sedative and would reduce concentration. Not the best thing to do on a battlefield.

Well I have to say that it was widely suggested that bromide WAS put into the tea when I joined the Army at 16, I would also like to say I believe there has been a delayed reaction to it.

I have never suffered a hypo attack mother and thank you for pointing that out to me, I don't suppose that mas...................no it wouldn't count

I wonder if bromide works on women? Although my wife was never in the Army..................

As for the original post pinky - I'm afraid I have totally forgotten what it was - that must be another side effect of .................that stuff they used to dose me with as a lad

Back to our unit elections.

Our Branch Secretary has agreed that it is alright for us to have a workplace ballot box but he wants us to take the box over to his work location so that he can count the votes privately. He feels he should be trusted to do this but I don't think he should be so sensitive. He ought be puttting the reputation of the branch before his feelings. At the last election, nobody from our unit got to witness the count and as a consequence there was grumbling.

Does anyone agree that our Branch secretary is being a bit precious?
