small offices all over the country, are easy meat for RM,well they about to run up against some of the bigger offices now,if the folk up in Angus and East Fife want to do extra work on delivery,come down to Dunfermline and dae a bit of my walk,cos here's a postie who aint working over his time.

dundee east are voting for industrial action, but when e/a comes in on the 20th april, we are picking walks on seniority, as bullying is rife up here, so picking walks will not allow bully boy managers to put their enemies on the worst walks( although they will all be shite i fear)
We are going to vote also to ban overtime on mondays and fridays and are going to have official/unofficial industrial action on a saturday, finishing an hour early.

Monday and friday are busy as, so we are gonna have a hell of a build up- quickly, and with cut offs and action on saturdays, mondays will be brutal!

I cant see many folk- although there are always a few pr**s- who will volunteer for o/t, even if they are working til 2pm, but you can never get through to them.

postman, if thats aimed at me, im not sure, but every office up here is balloting on different issues.

Personally, i feel, if strike action comes, the old one or two days-sat/mon etc, is not , in my eyes, good enough, weve seen in the past royal mail easily handle the situation.

iI reckon, if its on going, i would rather see a whole week strike, instead of 7 one day stoppages.

Doing the job properly is the biggest single thing we can do i feel, and as i posted earlier on this thread, we feel what we are gonna do will hit home, but, im open to any suggestions - except those from linkinpark lol

They / we, are balloting each office indavidually without calling any action, except small 30 min stoppages to keep initial ballot valid.
lots of small offices have already voted to strike, bigger offices are now being balloted.

lots of dominos ready to fall! i belive if there is a strike we will all go out at once. either as branch or division.

Well you don't need a ballot too do your job properly just conviction and realism as you will never get an early finish make the manager earn his/her bonus not give it too him/her on a sliver plate it is still not too late to do one's job as the rest in society do!. Do the road workers dig as fast as can be do the people who work in a supermarket fill the shelves as fast as they disappear and do our politicians stand for election as quick as they should if at all :mfo and do our business leaders pack the job in as fast as they should :lfo & :cfo after they have been found out as the charlatans they always were!.

My point is,London is ready to ballot,and we have not had ONE single EA yet!!
When we get one,then we will roll.

This is what EVERY branch/Div should of done.

A lot of branch's were told no backing for action do your own deals it's your problem!.

Im gonna find out from area rep about this.
What is the script if london has e/a imposed?
One day out, 2 days or indefinate?

As i said previous, different offices up here may ballot for different types of action on different or the same day,(managers cant be everywhere) thus giving the management a lot of different probs to solve.

I just think a one day walkout is pointless, been done before with little effect.

The union has to be cunning on this score, and keep the business guessing what we are up to.
