If I were Royalwud then I'd think very carefully about what he has done because over the past few months my rep has never been busier, this morning he spend nearly 2 hours trying to sort out several different issues which came up and he would do that at least once a week.

We all know that at times our union has let us down but if you look at the past look at what the union movement has done for us as a whole over time,
Freedom of speech,Freedom from an employer taking advantage,legal representation when things go wrong,working conditions much improved,wage claimes year on year,protect our rights and fight for better rights.

Years ago children as young as 4 were used to go up chimneys,work down mines,work in our factorys,work in our wollen mills,women did'nt have rights or a voice,men were made to go cap in hand to stand in lines to beg for a job.

These are only a few things that our unions and people have done to protect us and our futures, men and women in times gone by have given us so much when they had so little.

Think on that couple of quid has alot of history attatched to it,yes we could have done better and yes we were in a strong position last time and maybe the men at the top bowed but lets move on and learn from it.

Yes wasn't there a scandal a couple of years ago about ballot rigging for their GS.
