Herd that a few times before... I was told this and then asked by my DUM if it was true i was going to put myself up for REP.. I told him Na as i could do more damage to him and the screws n they couldnt doo me just as a CWU member,, And i didnt want him to get me house nicked off me and put away... HE JUST LOOKED AT ME WITH A STARE AND BLANK LOOK THAT SAID IT ALL... Then i said But if you dont play up know one will have to act like that DO THEY???? And walked away..... Funny,, He never liked me much????? When i got a transfer i was the only person i know who signed a waver to never return to the DO if i never liked the MC im in now!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA he wanted me back that much!!!! ahhhhhhh warms the cockles of me heart!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I jumped at the move... Signed it gave it back and out the office with a cheer!!! The blokes were top tho.. But they said they were glad i pissed off as i cant sing for toffee and i do like a SING SONG AT 0500 IN THE MORNING!!!

They want to make you seem weak towards the men, that is their trick.
You must be strong and get the men on your side, spend time talk to them
And disagree to any f******g thing they propose

But whatever you do check with your guys and gals first. Ours didn't and he was not very popular until the present difficulties started. Also for being a rep.

I understand that people can get upset when things do not always go their way but I feel I must point out that I do this for nothing The current dispute effects us all but to me at the minute the things going on in our office on a daily basis is just as important and even more time consuming. It annoys me even more when I get people off conduct cases and then they still diss me and the union.
Good luck cookie. If the DOM tries to pull the wool over your eyes (believe they will) just tell him your gonna consult area rep. Shuts them up straight away.
My DUM still tries to stitch me up after 1 1/2 years of being a rep. I just pull me phone out of me pocket and start dialing. DUM shites it and backs down.
I'm a Rep and have been for 10 years. Only been a postie for 10 years, when I joined the local Rep said if I did'nt like things to change them from with in. So I joined the Union, got shot of him as a Rep, beacuse he was just a spineless a****hole, who never went to meetings but used to have the time off to go.
I am a rep too and got to say i love doing the reps job getting the blame for everything can get you down. but when you save a person's job or someone tells you you have got a good deal it is all worth while.
