Dundee East were the most militant office in Scotland if not Britain. Looks like they have stepped up to the plate again. Similar vote to that of Dundee West(formerly pussies). Looks like the worms have turned. :dance

You got that one right Prowler! You can hardly get in the door for the yorkies :funneh
Nightshift on Friday night were told not to touch any of the mail but were to sort the polling cards that arrived on Friday morning!
When on earth are we going to do them tell me?!
Many of us yesterday were told to take 1st Class and dated mail only. So needless to say the frames are near breaking point with the mail that's left!
The fun continues on Monday with the "official start of the overtime ban" We have been doing it voluntarily so far. :chuckle

Aberdeen pussying out as ususal, everyone just going along with things as normal except for a handfull of staff who are leaving bags etc. Even some of these guys are slowly slipping into the old ways of starting before their time, going over their time on docket and what not. Wish we had the backbone some of the other offices have got.
i know how u feel sherpas rule but when area capitulates then its leaves the rest of us ploughing a lonely furrow

the election voting cards and leaflets could be the straw that breaks the camels back. their talking about testing a few walks this week.but is this genuine, or are they playing for time .what has been clearly proven at Dundee West, is that if our work is done properelly, that hours need to be put into offices ,not taking out.

If everyone did the job the way Royal Mail want us to and do the job properly then nearly all offices would require more staff, but this is the payback for job and finish. The flyers have shot themselves in the foot as Dims now say "you are hanging it up cause before you were back hours earlier" If you say it was because I was taking short cuts before they have got you for not doing the job properly, if you don't your hanging it up. heads they win tails you lose. Union warned you all about this and told everyone that this would happen and people did not listen to them now the brown stuff is hitting the fan..

Agree. but if youve half a dozen pr**s in your office, with seniority, then these f***ers will always be there to take the "best " rounds,- maybe one that you or i are doing "properly" , and making it last 3 hours 30.

A re sign happens, the arsehole steals it, takes his car, runs roond, nae break, and is home at 1 oclock.
It pisses me right off. :mad
