£400 payout all signed off and agreed but were in a good office and out dom is ok ( sort of) but were only a small office (70/80) dont think this would work if we were any bigger
I cannot believe I'm reading this. It's offices like yours that F*** it up for everybody. Your rep must be a TW**. If you all done your jobs properly you wouldn't have deliveries condensed or extra in the summer. Hope you enjoy your £400 pound less tax and have a great time working that day for free. Do that for a few years and the £400 is worthless. You've made your beds now lie in them enjoy your flexible working cause you've been conned.

Phase 2 of the agreement should only absorb indoor work. Why are you going back to a 6 day a week during the summer months?
Bollox, in my DO they want outdoor work agreed NOW, I've already told them to shove the agreement where the sun don't shine.

I still can't believe it 'You agreed to WORK FOR FREE' nevermind not using your car or coming in 30 minutes early but AGREEING (in writing) work 8 extra hours per week FOR NOTHING.

I'm going for a lie down and I hope whenever I get up I hope this was all a dream :cuppa :wave

To many DOMS are trying it on. They think we should run around like headless chickens with a brush stuck up our arses sweeping the floor as we go along. Well if you agree to a crap flexibility deal I hope you think the £400 was worth it this time next year.

For doing other work within the office is in the "AGREEMENT" for it does not give an example for maybe prostitution is one of them?.

They have told us to absorb 2 walking duties in our office. We are now in the process of all FT going to the DOM to ask for holidays during weeks 9 - 25. This will make it unworkable since it is only FT who do IPS. We struggle enough outwith the summer for bodies on IPS. If this is agreed then our office will reach melt down :Very Happy
I wouldn't mind taking an extra area during the so called quiet period if there was time available and if they would take an area off my round during the busy winter period but they tell us to stream and do an A - Z. Double standards :so there

It appears that there are many who are willing to sell their souls for a measly £400....and thats before tax people!!!
So it would be roughly £250 after tax!!!
Is that really worth being Totally Shafted for?????
And this is not just for a few months or a few years.......but for the duration of your time at Royal Mail...
Remember folks...........Flexibility = Shafted
