Lost my round to a casual! Any right to complain?

They can do what they want if you haven't signed for your duty, I'm in the same position and I've been on mine 15 years. With a revision coming up a couple of people with more years service than me have said would be picking my duty when it comes up.

That's correct, never signed for it, was a reserve at the time then put on a walk and was never taken off it.

That cant be right - theres never been a repick in 15 years? What about when park n loop came in etc?

I'd have another word with the DOM intially, TBH sounds like a bit of Favouritism sneaking in there, normally Common Sense doesn't enter into their thinking process. Tell him you're not happy and you'll be taking it up with the Union, as you consider it Discrimination (sometimes that's enough to cause a Rethink).

Talk to your Unit Rep see what he's got to say about it ....... If you're not happy with his response talk to the Area Delivery Rep (you can find his number on the Union Notice Board..... normally tucked away in a dusty corner of the canteen). In my experience he can often sort a problem out without getting tied up in the usual Internal Office Bullshit.

Whatever the result in future try and work "Properly". No more working for FREE. Take your Meal Breaks (or claim them when you get back). You've learnt a hard lesson but TBH 2 years is a very short time in this Business, and as you've discovered RM don't give a shite about you, all the "Favours" you've been doing your DOM mean nothing in the great scheme of things. Hope you manage to get something sorted.
