Seems to me the only thing you can do is use the overrunning procedure and get a few loops taken off so that you're not working past your time. Then claim for the number of election leaflets that you have delivered. This is a better way of doing it because you tend to get paid more for the canvassing stuff. Ironically, our office has tried lapsing due to staff sickness on a really busy day and I think to myself whats the point of working even more past your finish time and not getting paid for it??
