It beggars belief that neither the company nor union realise or care admit that the vast majority of mental health issues are caused by managers. Until the bullying is dealt with everything else is just a sticky plaster over the issue. Been through it myself, twice, all because you stand up to managers and do the job properly. You then walk around the office with a big target on your back and managers do anything and everything to make your working life hell.

Some people have a life outside of RM and sometimes things can go wrong and be difficult to deal with.

Okay I'll rephrase, as vast majority of the cases I know have been caused by RM managers.

Or you could put it another way.

People do have issues outside of work but you can bet your bottom dollar their working life doesn't help their situations because they come into the DO's and as we are all aware they are not the pleasantest of places to work in with the way managers are these days.
