i seriously believe that the cwu operates better under a tory government. cwu leadership seem to have a different agenda to us mere mortals under labour. perhaps hayes ect see how far a johnson got and it,s just become a career opportunity rather than an ideal occupation serving the lesser motivated amongst us.

there is a point in that, but it wasn't very nice for us mere mortals working under a Tory Government as the managers thought they were backed up all the way to Westminster . I'm not a fan of Hayes to say the least .

yes, but with hindsight, the 8 days lost pay was all for one thing only. to get the cwu leadership back in the game and having "THEIR" say in the future. rm will allow cwu to " agree" when they feel like it, but they will implement changes when they want to regardless of what cwu say. this is why cwu leadership is convincing us to accept changes re pension and late starts. they justify their roles. lets see if we are really allowed to start at 5am on a saturday in the new year, without any strings added. this leadership did not allow us to keep fighting to protect our conditions, they used us for their own gains. they have managed to attract so many members outside " normal postal work" that they now don,t have to worry about their subs rolling in from just postmen/opg,s. we will only have a decent union under a tory government.
