It sems to me that if your face fits you get the transfer you want. i've seen people accepted at other offices only to be told by dom. no we don't want to loose you. they have just walked out of rm altogether. other people have been encouraged to go to other offices cos dom didn't like them!!! No set rules just seems harder to be transfered genuinely.
although if you kick up a stink to the "are you ok people any issues" things get sorted!! Trust me i know this from first hand experience

Transfers------------------yes to all of the above!

OPG=serf

1) Transfer on full-time hours to full time very unlikely.
2) DOM's being given right to refuse transferee you bet!! Reasons given may vary with logic of manager?(Sick/conduct often quoted)
3) Area HR in charge? What HR? Some Areas still have lists but who updates these?
4) It really has got to the stage of it's who you know-pity the guys/girls in some remote SPDO's

National firm where the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing----------Royal Mail perhaps?

Feel most sorry for those with immediate personal issues it's now got to the stage where even DSM/MCM's cannot get people transferred even when they agree that issues are affecting members health.

Nice to work for a 'caring firm' Pad
