Tell your union rep and DOM that you are not asking for something above or below board but what you where guaranteed in that agreement. If the majority want 1 in 4 Saturdays off then it should carry..Simples.
As long as everyone is informed of and happy with the cost.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

We've got them in our depot had them since 2011. It was the best thing our depot and area rep did .
Lots of depots have lost full time jobs since 2010 and what did the get out of it ??? the same old 5 day rotating week . You had a menu of options for attendances read , demand , and vote like we did at our deport 2 sats of in sat really kushti at our depot !!!!!

our new new new new revisions come in on 2nd march. ALL part timers don't get a Saturday off AT ALL. they are not happy bunnies. first 18 full timers get 1 in 3 Saturdays the rest of the full timers get 1 in 4 Saturdays off. part timers get the s**t again. its not a fair company to work for.

If that happened at my office I would withdraw from the Union. What has happened there daveyeff is not something I recognise in Union values. Good to see your angry about it though :thumbup :thumbup

angry is an understatement teebs....a few of the lads have mentioned dropping out of the union and are calling it worse than shyte. what they are getting back is 'well jobs have been saved'....and 'it was voted in by the members'. its a tinderbox in there.

Why no 1 in 4 or 1 in 6 weekends off in every office in the country yet? RM want to save money.
