Pay deal should be 11% like MPs will get

Don't get hooked into comparisons with other public sector workers where income is concerned. Look at the bigger picture.
The .1% are getting richer and richer by the day as the world's central banks flood the planet with credit(debt).
Stock markets break new records, house prices and rents keep rising, bankers pay themselves huge bonuses, same with Queen Moya, etc.
The popular mass media running the distractions are owned by the .1%

Their spoils come from the rest of us. We 99.9% become poorer and poorer as real incomes fall.
Those paying for every day needs like food and energy know the inflation rate is not what government says.
We don't receive interest on our savings, so these lose value in real terms every day too.
People who worked all their lives saving for retirement are simply feeding the wealthy instead, interest rates not being set by market-led risk models but government interventions.

The levels of credit worldwide and the reluctance of central banks to insist bad debts are written down will mean more financial crises ahead.
We can expect this long period of high inflation, distorted government data, "hidden" wealth disparity and rising asset prices to continue.
It will be a bumpy ride for us, the 99.9% with bank "bail-ins", pension "adjustments", shares "resets", civil disturbances and maybe war to name a few.
The moral hazard of bailing out the financial system in 2008/09 will have enormous costs as now the stakes have risen greatly.
This unlimited monetary experiment will go down badly in the history books.
In another time or place we would have rushed the .1% off to the guillotine. No chance in current or near future times. Sadly
