RM were relying on us cracking at the thought of losing 4 days pay. from what we are all hearing and reading this is definitly not the case. so now RM will be sh*****g themselves. all we have to do is stay strong 'til weds and i'm sure we'll win this hands down.

I agree. Our support at my office is the best we have had since the strikes started. Royal Mail's 'offer' has really fired people up here. The pensions issue is the biggest worry for people with long service, while the youngsters are more concerned with working late on saturdays and 'flexible' working.
I'm a Postman at the Henley Road Delivery Office in Cambridge.

For me no strings, agreed modernisation that improves our terms, and 7.5%, plus in order to start rebuilding trust for the good of the service small scale redundancy with no golden handshake.

A BIT PEDANTIC I KNOW,BUT UNLESS WE GET AT LEAST 5% IT AIN'T A PAY "RISE",WE'LL HAVE THE SAME BUYING POWER AS LAST YEAR WITH INFLATION AT 4.5% OR MORE,SO WE WON'T BE ANY BETTER OFF,JUST HOLDING OUR OWN (!)

Not 'aimed' - that sounds aggressive ..... I only do aggression towards strike breakers & screws. Just defending peoples rights to have a good rant. This morning on our picket line ..... there were several rows where members were moaning about CWU & having differences about what they considered to be the more important issues. My point was that as long as they stand with me on the line ..... they can be as fired up ..... as they like. It is good to see members discussing issues ..... if is good to see criticism of the CWU ..... screws have to blindly 'follow orders' ..... gutless brainless t*ssers!

No one I think - its just a funny comment from someone who is a bit tired after doing picket duty methinks.
