Just the current state of affairs I feel myself dreading going into work most mornings now (can't sleep, nervous about going out, general feelings of anexity all classic signs of depression but most of all I want to punch someone and at the minute it could be anyone friend or foe)

I think a lot of postal workers, particularly those of us in deliveries, would give that some serious thought. Myself, I'm a contrary sort of bloke and
would hang around a bit longer, like a bad smell up my DOM's nose.

bearing in mind most have summer leave in June-August and spring week in April , May or September

They going to expect you do 10 hours in the winter and 6 in the summer when you have biggest chunk of leave and majority of Bank Holidays

If I could afford to go to Australia for my holidays, I'd take all my leave in the winter, just to stick two fingers up to RM

Times that by a few thousand each day all over the country and you can see the enormous amount of money they could save without cutting jobs...

I aint no graduate but just a humble postman and I can see the simplicity in it all, so why pay all those poxy graduates thousands more than me to come up with ideas when the answers are right infront of their faces if they actually had spent time in the DO`s etc.........

Let's face it comrades, every single day we can all see ways in which the job could be done much more efficiently that it is now. Personally, I'm not going to point these things out to any glorified office boy in order to help line the pockets of the scum at the top. They don't pay me to do that, so nuts to the lot of them.

We were asked to come up with ideas for permanent office savings Itold them that don't get paid to do that sort of thing and the responce was it is in your best interest to comne up with ideas for permanent savings, so had a few moments to think and the bst that I could come up with was to get rid of Mr L & C sooner rather than later it went down like a lead balloon.
