Just because you do not like the rules does not mean they are wrong.
The Branch must display the AGM in all units within this Branch otherwise it is in breach of its own model rules.
Now you say that it unfair for only those who attend the AGM. Well I am sorry but if the rules state this then if you dislike it then you must get members there and change the rules.
I know you feel it favours the Branch but I know in other Branch's if you have the support of your members then they will be willing to come to the AGM and vote for you.

And there you have it Minister - our rep wasn't even told when the AGM was being held and certainly the members weren't - at the last AGM I emailed to ask for the date time and location - it was 20 miles away and I received an answer exactly 1 hour after the meeting had started - A gentlemans club I hear you say? - they fall far short of gentlemen. How many times have you heard the cry - "get involved".................well chance would be a fine thing. Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark is closer to the mark.
