Injury/Sickness help

Update on my situation,when i was at docs last week i was put reffered to see physio on nhs hoping this may help my problem until i got definate answers from x-ray/scan but as good as i think the nhs are they will be length of time until i will get an appointment...
Out of the blue today my line manager contacted me saying rather abruptly "Royal Mail have stumped up £350 for me to go private"...
Could someone tell me please if this means that Royal Mail are admitting i had the accident on duty or would they stump up the cash if i had the accident while away from work?

Unfortunately, it doesn't. They paid for me to have Private Physio, when I had my AOD. But they still denied any responsibility for my Accident. Aparently, it's just something they do, if you have an injury, which is preventing you doing your job. Because they want to help you with your recovery. Most likley IMHO, because it's cheaper than leaving you on sick leave, for longer than you would be, without Private treatment. Whether you can get any other kinds of Private Health Care provided by RM as well, or not. I don't know. But they definately provide Physio.

Once the money has run out, the Private appointments will end (unless you pay for yourself of course). The theory being, that by then, you should have your NHS appointment. So PLEASE don't cancel your NHS referral.
