MDEC101 and TeaBag - I am pretty sure I was outside when you both came out.

RESPECT to you both.

I am early shift CWU rep at MDEC and can tell you 100% that the Branch will support you both.

You will NOT be subjected to ANY negative action - Royal Mail Conduct Code does NOT apply.

Your shift rep will support you. The Branch will support you.

I am over the moon that both you guys did what you did - all of us on here will respect you for changing your mind in the face of RM threats.

If you need to talk (and I know it is difficult and stressful in this type of situation) then PM me.

FORGOT TO SAY...

If I was involved in claiming back your 30 mins TOIL... 100% you would get it back. It is the principle - 30 mins not a lot but I would NOT stop until they gave it to you. Your shift rep would be the same.

Bravo lads (or lasses) if we were 100% all out over the country these one dayers might have a better impact than they are having

It's great to know that the CWU are there IF anything happens. Will see what happens over the next few days. Thanks for all your comments outside, really encouraging.

I am based at Plymouth MDEC and asked our wgm to clarify the position as we were told we could go in to work and then go again if we decided to support the IA. We were told that if we went in to work and then walked out (even if there was only say an hour left of the shift) we would be within our rights but we would not get paid for any of it. Needless to say I didn't go in at all again this time. Well done to those of you who had second thoughts once in work and walked out.

It is a shame more of plymouth mdec cannot stand up for themselves cause this dispute affects them as well other sections of Royal Mail.
