we mean work your proper hours, calm down mate.
I am very calm was just pointing out the fact that unless we have another ballot then we cannot work to rule.
Now working to your 318 is different and is what everyone should be doing regardless of IA or not.
I feel we should have another ballot if thats what it takes to vary our options. Thats only my opinion and i am not angry about it just voicing it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Did I let the cat out of the bag or something?!
Working to rule means working to Royal Mail's rules, which is your 318. They can't do anyone for following their rules!

Anyways I'm on the vans as is my WHOLE office and we work to our 318's and have been doing so for a few months.
Today the AREA MANAGER was doing the cut off's in our office.
And we have left shed loads of mailsort.

Mailsort?? Is that the mailsort that comes in trays or bags (because my DUM said all mailsort would be in trays but it's been coming down in bags recently)
and the packets in bags and the meter bags.

Or, Friday Mail Centres - Saturday D0`s/ Then Next Week Monday Mail Centres - Tuesday DO`s/ Then the work to 318s (as sparky above) for the rest of the week. And, as an after thought, 1ST two weeks the North - 2ND two weeks the South.
This way we lose pay only one day per week, but we have a (8 day?) rolling strike, any offer`s?
well put it would have a massive impact on royal mail it would cause big probs for royal mail , total agree from the swindon boys

Ive worked to my 318 for 15 years haha! Fair enough im in a MC which is a bit diffrent, and only did a short stint in the D.O. covering the specials locker for a few years when the woman was on leave. She used to come in an hour early not take her break , stay back EVERY day to confirm cards, and had took on more workload off the DOM . Well let me tell you when i covered it i stuck to that 318 like f***ing glue! There was chaos when posties were banging on the locker window wanting cards etc and i was on my break haha!! Also the extra work she had took on which wasnt on the 318 got shunned good style ! Had the DOM fuming while i was on it , but soon as she was back she was back to her old ways :/
Tommo i think he may be referring to the 'As directed' thing.
Maybe.
woofwoof?
