The strike breakers would take the union to court and the union would be fined and would have to reinstate the filth. As for the BNP :mad , their message is to divide the working class along racial lines and when they gain control they would ensure that the workers do as they are told. 1926 the General strike in Britain, 1933 onwards in Germany, 1939 in Spain and 1973 Chile show that nationalistic tendencies can and will be used by the bosses to ensure that workers are never given the power or the respect they deserve. BNP are wolves in sheeps clothing, smash the nazies where ever you find them. The strike breakers are self centred and their basis for life is money, hopefully they will be in the first cuts. :pray
With "Solidarity" they need 2000 members before they can afford a regional organizer for IT representation ; who's going to represent you on conduct/attendance?, what are you paying £5 a month for ? regardless of your opinion of New Labour/TUC .Usual mixture of fantasy & paranoid idiocy, also the little problem of being recognized , you'd need a ballot under EEC law.
Yes RM's lawyers are straining at the leash for any little thing.
My old guard's inspector was "advised" by Chris Green's brother ( Virgin CEO) to go to the National Economic League during the '89 dispute as he hadn't recieved aa ballot paper from the RMT when main-line guard. Tebbit was critical of BR's boards duplictious, deceptive & disingenious handling of negiotations, sounds familliar? , so the case went to the HighCourt as a smokescreen . The case was thrown out but it must have cost a bit.
You can have legal retribution just have to keep your powder dry & be patient.
That individual was shopped for being a A******* so he didn't make Chief, instead they gave it to a ex militant rep with a drink problem, sounds familliar again?, also a rep shopped him to the late Paul Foot in The Daily Mirror , aparently he'd his Jag deliberately scratched due to that "adverse publicity", it did stand out a bit on a rough estate!

I have heard of 1 person that has been to conference with us and he was too much of a coward to go into his own office, so he made up the numbers at another office SCAB does not seem strong enough word for him! have heard of another health and safety rep being the only one in his office, what is going on how can they be called Reps, I would not want to work in their offices I think I would get chucked out.

I find it hard to weigh up how they can legally, as a 'democratic' union, expel someone for being a member of a political party. The National Front is another extreme party and I`m sure there are others you could name. How about the Monster Raving Looney Party. Dumb and Dumber are probably members of that one..
How do they know if you`re a member of a political party anyway (I`m not in case you`re wondering), have they got some sort of hit list? Or are you supposed to volunteer such information and ask them to expel you!

I think it has something to do with certain political parties having views which are not conducive to membership of a trade union.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common."
