They'll be too busy running around like headless chickens and printing off street maps to worry about us

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Told today at WTL that RM are NOT allowed to take pictures of people picketing as its illegal, same goes for members taking pictures of people crossing picket line. Probably comes under Data Protection Act or Human Rights.

Remember the strike in 2003, the RM urged it's managers to spy on union activists, eavesdrop conversations etc.

It was a Guardian front page and ironically it went a long way to settling the dispute.

Maybe I'm a bit cynical, but I don't trust a word the governors say. Not that I'm advocating taking pictures of strike breakers or not, I just wouldn't trust anything they say to us... especially in WTL&L where they're encouraged to lie to us.
