this doesnt surprise me at all

on the mdec i have heard if you stick up for someone or enquire about them you can be threatened with the conduct code, or worse bullying and harrassment procedures so i now just go into work and get on with job and i try not to engage in a conversation with people that arent on my pod

its the way to survive on the mdec :so there
That depends how u say it Dman or if u r like me could'nt care less ne way.

Isn't this a variation on all that McCarthyite spying stuff reported in The Guardian in 2003? , check out Boggie the DOM Our Lawyers are watching as we plan to sequestrate the assets of the CWU.
Remember that never used before Conspiracy Charge fit up on the Shrewsbury Four during the building strike in 74?
Allan Leighton's ideas are essentially American and there has been a rise in Union Busting, some private Telecoms firms have used them here.

You can take RM to Tribunual for that , it's against EEC law. RM have always been autocratic , thinking themselves to be above the law , but like in most things, those two have are even worse.

Today (tuesday) we had a floor meeting called by the screws, the main points of this meeting were

"if you voted no to strike action thankyou very much" as you can imagine that went down well

"there is no mandate for a work to rule so doing so would be illegal industrial action" when I spoke up to say that you can still work to your 318 and just do the job properly I was told that I was inciting industrial action and I'd better keep quiet from now on.

these are the type of threats we've all just got used to. . . but we shouldn't have to get used to it

to my mind speaking up for your colleagues and working as a team are good and usefull qualities that Royal Mail would do well to use rather than try to crush.

as per usual if they can't control it they destroy it. . . Hitler would have been proud of them
