Bugger me you certainly are a piece of work ! Uncle Joe could have taken lessons from you,Adolf just a light weight, Hope you don't find this UNDULY NEGATIVE. Don't know about "surgical" but I find the tone of your posts disgustingly bullying. All for free speech until we disagree with you ,tough ,get used to itTman wrote: Yes, but free speech doesn't allow you to slag someone off (in this case, our employer) with no redress. Going on a public forum and posting what may be seen as unduly negative things will get you a trip "down the road" no matter who you work for.

Fine for, obscene :slanderous :libelous .Night Tonic wrote:Free speech providing it does not put Postman's own job on the line. He runs the site and ultimately has to face the flack if the poo hits the fan. I think we should all bear that in mind.
But you surely are'nt suggesting we are no longer permitted to be critical in any way! Who becomes the judge of what is undue criticism? what next ,mildly disapproving?
Not turning into a cyber bully too are you NT, Oh sorry forgot your previous form

I think you make up half of what you write Belial - to suit your own ends. I said nothing about being, or not being critical of Royal Mail. I'm far more critical of the EU anyway. But, I'm right in saying that free speech should not extend to dropping POSTMAN in it - unless ignorance goes hand in and with militancy.

the management style and policy is negative full stop. All this being negative stuff is we can't deal with any criticism whatsoever , the usual dogmatic , very high handed and arrogant nonsense which we've all come to expect from RM .
MURDERERS. Need to dispose of a body? Simply parcel it up and post it to yourself via DHL. You will never see it again.

I stopped responding to your meaningless pseudo-intellectual posts some time back, although I'll make an exception with this one. Seems to me that your perception of life in RM etc distorts everything including your understanding(?) of things you read, as here.
I don't find it NEGATIVE, just pretty much the usual level and tone expected.
Don't know what's "bullying" about pointing out that rightly or wrongly, to criticise your employer on a web-site is asking for trouble, and if you kept up with current affairs and CWU PC user guidelines you'd know it, and have heard of people dismissed for just this action. Did you accuse the CWU of bullying too, when they released the booklet about PC usage recently? I doubt it somehow.
Whether you do it is immaterial to me, but try and understand what's written rather than use it as an excuse for another diatribe, that way the thread can flow so much better.
Or is it the written version of "turrets"?

Whether you like it or not, people have been dismissed for things that have been posted on here, others have received penalties short of dismissal. Some of these have been through appeals and some of them were successful and some weren't. They haven't been tested at tribunal yet, but it's odds on that some dismissals will stand.Oh dear ,someone may consider that an" unduly negative" comment, if so according to Tman you could be "down the road" .personaly speaking I think its fine for you to post your views without the threat of dismissal , but feel free to disagree(or maybe you should'nt?)
Therefore, it is quite clearly not fine to post your views without the threat of dismissal.
