Just been in touch with workmate who keeps records of o/t worked. The 1st sa
was 16th June 2021 so sa as been active over 12 months so from what I'm reading with that agreement 28 days notice should of been served. Any advice on best way to approach manager, as I say no use going to rep as agrees with everything he says. Said rep as crossed picket line last time we had ia,
and seriously bugs me they will be taking names of anyone that crosses line if we vote for it
this time. The union above them says we must forgive and forget

Usually be it right or wrong the rep will take names of anyone who crosses line, this could ( as I say be it right or wrong ) have an impact on any future help the union, if needed, would give to said persons

This is what I'm trying to say, this person who wasn't elected, is a popular person, so people won't put in a vote of no confidence, and so we find ourselves stuck with them until the next election. When I say they are popular, it goes as far as the area reps thinks they are great, and say we should forgive and forget that they crossed the picket line. The rep is in the managers pocket, agrees with everything they propose and even as their break with them some days.
