let them count the mail.do the walk as if it' s been tested and they are fookered.it's all right counting the amount of mail ,but i'm guessing they are not counting the call rate of the mail.

Flexing for 30mins should be an exception and not a rule. And is also voluntary.
Also when you get the 30mins back has to be negotiated not just when the manager wants it put back.
And you should not loose overtime because of it.

The deal is in there's nothing we can do about it,it depends on how your branch and DIV reps negotiate how it works.
Parts of London have had meetings with their AGM's and points have been clarified and wordings of the agreement have been sorted.
But it takes a lot of negotiating and give and take, you have to give something but what has come out of London is the 30mins is only in exceptional circumstances, not willy nilly.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
