just got an email from the cwu regarding the deal, few things bother me though

1st ● CWU/RMG AGREEMENT: THE FIRST STEP TO EQUALISATION?

wasn't the vote last year the 1st step? :arrrghhh

2nd ● Ending the practice of recruiting new entrants on 40 hour contracts – all new entrants from the 1st June 2026 will be recruited on 37 hours as a full-time contract.

now am i right in saying that if say there's say 20 new contracted in a office on 30hrs (all of ours are) and say 5 get made up to 37hrs then anyone starting after June 1st will leapfrog the other 15 already there straight into a 37hr job?
and that's not even touching on old contracted p/t who also want but can't get 37?
or is it that maybe just maybe the cwu are spinning this and once employed it will be pro rata and you are also on 30hrs and now overtime will start at 37 not 40 now

3rd ● The review, next step and plan for equalisation will be concluded no later than January 2027 :cuppa

call me scepticle but every deal these guys rustle up is the same garbage, they just replaced "legally binding agreement with "the secetary of state for b&t"
and to be honest, i wouldn't trust either of them to

on another note, have they asked how much money will be save from executives and excess management that will be also removed?
